Thanks.  I suspected that might be the case, but obviously don't have the
book to verify it.

So, what is the status of an iris like this one?  Named, distributed, but
not registered?  If I hybridize with it, what would it do?  Can the name be
used by someone else registering another iris?  That would be confusing down
the line somewhere, I would think.  Any idea how common this might be?  The
iris itself is very distinctive.  Enough so that I've been willing to baby
it and acquire it a second time.  It really should be registered.  Nice
name, too, I think.
