Rebloom in Texas
Good morning iris buddies - Rebloom, for me, is seldom. I have a segregated
area for reblooming iris which I try to fertilize and water as fall approaches
but not much happens. I was away for several weeks and when I came home in
November and was looking over my garden I noticed a spot of bright color in my
LA iris bed. Hmm, I thought, that must be a sweet gum seedling I hadn't
noticed before. Closer inspection revealed a reblooming stalk of Red Echo. What a
lovely surprise. I have grown LA for years and never experienced rebloom
