Mark and Donald,

I just want to comment on i.pseudocorus. In central Kansas where I used to
live many private ponds were beginning to be overrun with this beautiful pest.
The people who pulled some out to take home and plant in their gardens had no
problem with it taking over. However, one of my friends planted some in a
drainage ditch and it was becoming a pest there. We had both the light yellow
and the dark yellow, but no variegated ones. Removing the seed pods would be a
good way to control it, although it does multiply quickly by rhizome.

Pat in CO. A beautiful day, no wind (different from KS!).
