Well, I've re-read Juri's post three times now.
Do I understand this correctly: 34 seeds from 2 crosses/pods germinated in
the 'fall'? Does this mean that these seeds were harvested in August,
planted out, and they sprouted BEFORE the following permafrost?
While these germinations may be 'untimely', when faced with severe weather,
isn't this timing essentially what we are going for? Of course we might go
to the trouble to grow them indoor to increase their growth/ survival rates.
Juri, what were the procedures that were used for harvesting and stratifying
these seeds?
