Hey Anner and Kathy

The oil trick sounds good. I am going to try vegetable oil, soap and water and
BT. I have not overcrowded my iris but due to humid conditions they love it
here. I have mulched nearby lilac, lily and daffodil row with cedar. ( see
I'll try anything suggested) Hoping the smell will serve to fumigate the area.
I did release ladybugs this year but they flew away and just lately are back
on the side of trhe house to stay warm , which I take as a sign of good luck.
Besides they are so cute. Spraying Bt this summer was very effective in
controlling the mosquitos and cabbage worm and tomatoe worms.

This weekend will be my last effort in the garden till next spring. (Besides
covering my mesculn at night, I can keep it till Thanksgiving ususally)
