Question

From: "Linda Horth" <lhorth@rconnect.com>

To iris talkers:
I am wondering if all the problems growing irises south of z 5/6? I have
been reading about , borers, rot, yellowing, dousing them with bleach to
name a few things . I live in z4 in Mn. & haven't had these problems
[granted I don't have any big name irises ] I do have TBs, Sibs & JI s but
don't seem to have any of these problems. In fact they maybe would grow in
the cracks of the sidewalk. The only problem I have is getting the irises
from the nursery in time to plant them before freezeup, I think it's time
to change sources.
Any comments?
