Re: SPEC: Iris lactea

From: koekkoek@dordt.edu (Arnold Koekkoek)

I have had I. lactea for several years, growing in semi-shade here in NW
Iowa, in very well-drained soil. I water that bed if it doesn't rain
for a while, but lactea doesn't seem to mind either lots of water or not
a lot. Its flowers arrive early in the iris season, and they generally
are at or above the tops of the tallest leaves.
