Questions

Hello, 
 
This is our first time dividiing irises that we planted, 2 years ago,  in our very small plot here in Whittier, California (20 feet by 30 feet). I want to ask some of the group that grow a lot more irises than us if they divide and replant every single year? 
 
I know someone did write to me and say try to let your ground rest for a year but that really isn't an option for us right now. 
 
Also, are there any members of the Southern California Iris Group out there? When is the next meeting and where?
