Thanks to you Tucson and Albuquerque responders.  From what you say, I can
send  rhizomes to Tucson now, and my daughter and her husband will be able
to enjoy them next spring.  --  Griff

Well, I'm still an active lurker on the list but never post.

There's plenty of time to plant in Tucson-I'm waiting till we have some days
under three digit tempertures because they just burn up.

If she has a little shade, October is a perfect month to plant here.
