Although I have never used much cygon I am very familiar with chemicals.
If you apply cygon on just one leaf that is all you are going to kill as I
am sure a concentrated solution would be deadly to that one leaf. A low
concentration is necessary so it can spread through the plant without
killing it. I would advise trying the regular concentration on a few plants
painted on - one coating - and see what happens to the plants. If OK then
vary the concentration upwards 25% to make up for missed areas. Sorry I
can't speak from experience but really do have few borers. This is partly
due to having mostly species and constant replanting of the TBs I do have. I
mostly grow the Tbs just for the CIS auctions.
