Blue-flowered native of Israel?

Along the lines of naming mystery plants, here's one I hope someone can help
identify & provide some information.  Recently I've seen a very pretty plant
in a local nursery (grown by Do Right's in Southern California) which is
labeled with the Latin name of Paracarym mediterranean.  I've done a web
search of the Latin name and got only one hit -- at least I found a reference
to this name, but there was no information about the plant at all.
One of the nursery people said the rep for Do Right's told him they thought
it was a cross between a Myosotis and something else.  The blue flowers look
very forget-me-not like, but the foliage is entirely different, quite grey,
with longish more lanceolate leaves (like it can take more sun).  The whole
plant is way more substantial in its stature and bulk than your garden
variety Myosotis, looks like it will be a 2 foot X 2 foot.   Anybody heard of
it?  Lived or been to Israel and saw it growing there?

Thanks!
