Recently, Pacific Horticulture magazine (a California publication)
and some botanical gardens in CA jointly started propagating plants
that are rare or endangered and for which there is a very small gene
pool remaining. I bought a Deppia splendens, native to Mexico, and
am nursing it to 1 gal size so I can plant it out. In the meantime,
I am curious about what to expect. Anyone grown this plant and how
does it do in a garden? how large/how much sun and water/when does
it bloom, what is its ultimate shape, what does it combine well with,
etc.?
Thanks
Nan
