Bay Area Olive Tours

Someone I know from the Organic Gardening mailing list will be in town next
week and we plan to meet and do something related to gardens. We're both
very interested in seeing olive-related things so I was wondering if anyone
knew of something like that. I think I have heard of it in Napa and Sonoma
Counties, similar to the tours and tastings you can take in a winery. I'm
not sure about the timing...I think we may have just missed olive season.

Anything within an hour's drive of Oakland is fine.
Organically grown olives highly preferred.
Tour must be wheelchair accessable (unless they have a go-cart type tour to
   see the trees)
Either olive oil or eating olives are okay.

Barring that, I'm open to other suggestions. Grapes and wine don't do
anything for me though my guest would like to see them. We're both also
interested in botanical gardens and the like.

I was thinking of the UC Berkeley garden, which I've never seen beyond
going there once for a sale, but I am worried that it will be too steep to
take a wheelchair on...especially with all this rain. Anyone know?

Thanks,
Cyndi
