I hate to put on a dampener but we had a really good and early spring
too, lots of sunshine and all -only it degenerated first into a month of
almost continuous rain which then meandered on into a summer which is
averaging about two days a week, interspersed with a cloud cover so
thick one wonders whether the sun has gone away on holiday. 

Surprisingly, things do seem to be still growing - weeds best of all,
needless to say!!
