Well, Milk thistle seems to be the most common thistle in Ft. Ord.
Italian thistle comes in at a close second.I agree it is pretty but i
had to pull this stuff and the thorns would go through the leather
gloves we had! The leaves were pretty, but walking through it and
getting whapped with it was not fun! We also saw some nice Rosa
californicas with bright red hips! the roses only grew near the vernal
ponds there.
