Dear Nan,
I have a fig tree one year older than yours which I'm trying to espallier
on my west facing wall. I understand that it will do best if I prune it to
let light and air into the center when the leaves are full, but that's all
I know. I'm waiting to hear what other advice the medit-planters give you.
Best wishes,
Elly
