I've got a 2.5m specimen on the side of our property which
was relinquished to me by a former neighbor. He had kept
it in a pot perhaps 80cm in diameter for probably 20 years
or so. It's still recuperating from this 'care.' The
fact that it's still alive attests to A. heterophylla's ruggedness.
I'm no plant pro but i'd suggest putting those guys in pots now
rather than later.
