a visitor from Oz

Since the topic of Australia has come up, I thought I'd relay that I've just had a nice lunch with Beverly Elischer, one of our members from Perth. She is visiting her son's family here in the SF Bay Area of California. We had a nice chat about all manner of things, and unfortunately I had to get back to the office. She is enjoying her brief stay here (her flight leaves tomorrow evening) but hasn't had much chance to see many gardens, etc., spending most of her time with her 2 grandchildren, both under 2yrs of age! It is always a pleasure to put a face with a name, Beverly being well-known for some years here in the medit-plants forum.
