I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I would like to make some comments
about your Campsis.
A major difference between grandiflora and radicans is that the latter
is a self-clinging vine, while grandiflora is not. It would help in the
identification if you could check this point.
You do not seem to be aware that there is a hybrid between these two
species Campsis X Tagliabuana 'Mme Galen', This is very common here and
the flowers are described in my book as bright salmon red. The vine is
self-clinging like radicans and the foliage also resembles radicans, but
is more robust and requires hefty support. Could this be your mystery
variety?
