Where else would I ask this?


	While browsing in a bead store in Oakland California with my 
wife, I encountered a strange piece of what appeared to have been a 
plant. The owner assured me that it had been a living plant but the 
color was  wild, dark purple. IT MAY HAVE BEEN DYED.
	I would appreciate it if you would enlighten this ignorant 
person. I may be party to an elaborate hoax for all I know.
