RE: Red gum Eucalyptus Lerp Psyllid

Maybe because "lerp" is so fun to say!

At Foothill College in Los Altos Hills (right by 280 where the great
ceanothus-cercis color combination is found), red gum lerp psyllids have
infested E. camaldulensis for at least a year and a half. The campus has a
large number of these eucalypts, and they're not doing very well after two
seasons of attack. We've heard about the parasitoid wasp up here as well;
hopefully the bio control will be successful.
