Citrus fertiliser

Alisdair, I have some special citrus food put out by Yates,
Australia's oldest and biggest (I guess) seed & garden product
firm. The analysis on the bag reads:

		Total nitrogen as ammonium 10.5%
		Phosporus as water soluble 1.8%
		Phosphorus as citrate soluble 0.4%
		Phosphorus as citrate insoluble 0.1%
		Total phosphorus 2.3%
Total potassium as potassium chloride	8.3%
		Calcium as superphosphate 5.1%
		Sulphur as sulphates 14.5%
		Iron as ferrous sulphate 0.2%
		Copper as copper sulphate 0.005%
		Zinc as zinc sulphate 0.005%
		Manganese as manganese sulphate 0.01%
		Boron as borax 0.01%
		Molybdenum as sodium molybdate 0.001%

The instructions say to apply it at the rate of 500g per year
for each year of the tree's growth up to 10 years, mature trees
2.5kg in early Spring and half that in late Summer. Of course,
this is probably formulated for Australian soils and the
requirements might be slightly different for example in Greece.
For pots they recommend 75g per 75cm (2'6") pot, at least 30cm
away from the trunk. (under the "drip line" for ground planted trees)

I hope this is helpful!
