I leave just south of barcelona, in the country.
another favorite of mine is the almond tree which will do well
there, blooming in january o february.
I also like the palmito( chamaerops humilis)
and to atract birds to your garden, the lentisco ( pistacia
lentiscus) does so by providing winter berries.
the currucas, small birds , gray with a black cap,
overwinter in them feeding on the berries
