RE: Lagerstroemia in coastal central California


Jason,

I'd point you--and all others interested in crape myrtles--to the US
Arboretum introductions. They've introduced a large number of hybrids
between L. indica and L. kiowa that are mildew resistant and available in a
wide variety of sizes and colors. Here's a web page to browse:
