Anyone up for a game of "name that plant"?  I just got this one at a local nursery yesterday.  It had lost its tag, but the nursery personnel insisted it was Salvia greggi.  Clearly that's not correct, or not quite correct.  It has much larger flowers than any greggi cultivar I've seen, and the flowers are fuchsia-pink and FUZZY.  The leaves are also much larger, about an inch in diameter, a shiny dark green, and non-fragrant.  Similar to Ribes vibunifolium, except less round and no fragrance.  Maybe like a citrus leaf?  If it is a hybrid of S. greggi, I would guess that it's got quite a lot of something else in it.  Anyone who wants a blurry cell-phone picture, let me know :).

Salvia buchananii, see: http://images.google.com/images?q=Salvia%20buchananii for comparison.
