Re: Salvia Black and blue (was indigo spires)
I got S. guarantica black and blue from Rich Dufresne earlier this year and
I absolutely love it! The leaves are lighter green than most of my other
salvias, so that deep black/blue flower color is even more striking. Right
now it is blooming next to some kind of S. greggii that has bright cherry
colored flowers (this is the only part of my garden that has much pink in
it, I'm not real fond of pinks), and a mexican sage with its bright purple
flowers and blue/green folige. Really striking!
