Thanks for this, Gene.That's very encouraging; I shall simply leave well
alone. Mine probably are five or six years from seed and certainly have
got better every year.
Quite a lot better than peonies, I think, because of *when* they bloom
(when everything flowering is still precious) and the duration of the
blooms (they still look good after two months whereas my peonies come
and go very quickly). Certainly one of my top few plants.
