I certainly agree with the above, but here in Wisconsin, such talk would be viewed as heretical by many, as deer hunting is "Big Business", particularly in the northern part of the state. This was particularly evident in the worries about the impact of Chronic Wasting Disease infecting the state deer herd. Fortunately (or unfortunately) is seems to be restricted to a several county area just west of Madison.

There have been many times when I lusted over large country yards where I could let my obsession truly run wild (I hear my friends saying: Could????), but I'm content with my city yard where the only troublesome vermin are raccoons and chipmunks
