Hi,
I am looking for ideas for half hardy perennials that you
wouldn't be without in your gardens. Plants that are worth the
effort even though you may have to replace them year to year despite your
attempts to overwinter. Could you please give me the reason the plant
is worth the effort i.e. growth habit, bloom time, length of bloom
season, color etc. Please post the plant name, hardiness zone (if known),
your hardiness zone and state. I am looking for any and
all ideas. I am located in zone 5 but I would like to see input
from all zones.
I hope the the results of this will be interesting for all to
see.
Thanks,
Jerry
