Re: Watering systems?


Barb, I'll second Diana's  "dirty water theory".  This could be from -1) the source,
such as a well, with insufficient filtering system -2) if soluble fertilizers are
being used they may not be totally mixed in the water and could settle and clog
filters.  Also, combining certain fertilizers could also cause re-crystalization.
-3) (my nemesis) white poly pipe.  White poly is % transparent.  When the sun hits
the fertilizer water that is sitting in the pipe it causes algae to grow which clogs
filters and emitters.
