According to "Poisonous Plants of the United States" (Macmillan),
contact dermatitis has been reported with both Campsis radicans and
Catalpa speciosa, two other members of the Bignoniaceae, so it is
not surprising that the Crossvine (Bignonia capreolata) could cause
this in susceptible individuals.
