daylilies


Re: cutting back daylily foliage after blooming, I read in last month's
Garden Design magazine (I think that's where I saw it) that they
recommended cutting back daylilies after blooming! They said the new
foliage would grow in "neater" for the rest of the season.  I was very
puzzled since I'd not heard this before - and I never thought daylily
foliage was particularly messy!

Did anyone else read this?
