Hi,
I have had a couple of purple flowered penstemons here in Colorado (Zone 4/5)
for last three seasons. One of them died back last year after the blooming was over, and never
came back. The other survived the winter and bloomed this spring, but seems to
be going the way of the dead penstemon. Would anybody be able to share their
experiences/advice about this perennial? I did a little bit of deadheading of
the plant this year after the bloom was over.
Thanks,
Vinata
