I have planted some heathers this spring in a new foundation bed and they are
pretty. I don't know how hardy they will be up to zone 4 but Rock Spray
Nursery in Truro, MA specializes in heathers. They have a web page at
www.rockspray.com and provide some good information on heathers. Their
catalog lists the various heathers with their bloom time. I have Silver
Knight (silver/gray foliage with pink flowers) that just finished blooming
and Mair's Variety (white flowers in bloom now) among others. Can't wait
until they spread and get larger. ;-)
