Don't know if this belongs in the perennials or woodyplants list but
think I'll start here.
I picked up a couple of Buddleia davidii ("Black Knight") bushes at
the local Eagle Hardware -- they were too cheap to resist. Well, that's
been at least a month or more ago and the poor things are still not
planted. Now I'm having second thoughts about where I thought I
would plant them. So what would give them the best chance of surviving
the winter: plant them and then most probably move them next spring
(shades of Jeanne's shasta daisies), sink them still in their pots some
where temporarily (this is how they are right now), bring them indoors
and allow to go dormant, or ??.
