Well, Marge, once again I leap before I look (to read the header)..my verbena
b. is in full sun, but somehow I have a feeling it would grow in at least
partial shade. I thought mine was gone last year, then I noticed it. Not
where I had planted it originally, but in the same bed. I really like it and
it keeps on going. But of course, you were talking *shade* here.
I was listening to Nancy DuBruele (of Natureworks)doing her monthly talk on
gardening on a local NPR station and she mentioned Turtlehead for shade & for
the autumn. I may have misunderstood her (why not? I don't pay attention to
headers either!), but she was talking about perennials for autumn and I
thought she mentioned turtlehead. I've never grown it myself, so know nothing
about it.
