I am interested in propagating cane plants. Ornamental cane. I don't know
the botanical name or even for sure that this it the correct name. The plant
was given to me. It is about 4 feet tall, looks like a smaller version of a
corn plant only is variegated. I have had it going on the third year and it
hasn't increased all that much. I would like to increase it for purposes of
retail sales and was wondering if anyone knows if I need to dig and divide
it, make root cuttings or ????. I don't believe it has any seed as I have
not noticed any. Any information on identity or propagation will be
