I am not sure what kind of Hibiscus I have. I don't think that it is a
potted plant. I bought it at a farmer's market. The woman there told me to
put it in the ground, cut it back in the fall and cover it with leaves, and
it would survive the winter. I see them a lot in my area, so I assume that
they are hardy here. They seem to get very large and bush-like.
The woman told me that it was in its second season. It is about 3' tall and
has very large, off-white blooms with dark pink centers. They are very
spectacular, but only last about 1 1/2 days. I think that I have not been
giving it enough water, and that is why it wilts.
