Yes, Donna, we have done that. Sometimes three or more cars. Sometimes
coming home with plants on your lap and plants on the floor. There is the
devil to pay for the guy who buys two more when the driver says "that's all".
I have been told it is called a plant caravan on the West Coast and
sometimes they stay overnight. Now - we have not gone that far but have been
out pretty late. We usually include some plant group auction or show or some
affair and take off from there. An event is not necessary, we can make it
from Albany, NY to Boston, Mass and back in one day plus drop in on
Connecticut. Some small growers in the NY/New England area are open on on
weekends or by appt. so a plan of some sort needs to made.
Are there any more ideas or tales? A bus!, a bus would be nice.
