That is a great idea I wish some nurseries in my locale did the same. I try to buy locally as much as I can but they don't always have the plants I specifically am looking for. One nursery gives you a percentage off after you buy over a thousand dollars worth in a year. I have come close but never was able (and perhaps didn't want to) reach that goal. It seems like a good thing to reward loyal customers.

The nurseries (garden centers) have started something new in the last two years here. They now give you 'company name-bucks' when you purchase items. Later in the year (around end of July- Aug) they pick a weekend and you can use your 'bucks' on plants. Kind of rewards those that have purchased from them rather than everyone, and helps deplete the overstock before winter. So marketing Doug... is this happening all around the industry or just locally here? Started with one nursery and seems to be spreading around in this neck of the woods.....
