The nurseries (garden centers) have started something new in the last
two years here. They now give you 'company name-bucks' when you purchase
items. Later in the year (around end of July- Aug) they pick a weekend
and you can use your 'bucks' on plants. Kind of rewards those that have
purchased from them rather than everyone, and helps deplete the
overstock before winter.
So marketing Doug... is this happening all around the industry or just
locally here? Started with one nursery and seems to be spreading around
in this neck of the woods.....
