Re: Acaena microphylla
Check into acaena before you just run out and buy it. I don't care for
the notion that those little burrs will stick to anything and gets
relocated. In fact, I nearly suspect that it's one of those plants that
may well be outlawed in the future due to its' overzealeous habit.
Here in the Pacific Northwest, our climate is the same as NZ, its native
home. I've seen it used as a groundcover on a steep bank and all those
little reddish burrs rolled right to the bottom. They have a way of
getting around.
