Can't believe that I actually went out and picked four
roses and a yellow reblooming iris today. It's December 9th! The
iris smells absolutely devine.
Iberis is blooming as is the Scabiosa columbaria
'Butterfly Blue'. But what's new? That little charmer has bloomed it
heart out this year. The purple reblooming iris are still blooming as is
Dicentra exemia and Hieracium maculatum (hawkweed). My yellow buddleia is
also still going strong. Helleborus foetidus is starting to bud up.
Just can't believe that it is almost Christmas.
Speaking of hellebores, I am curious how others feed
them throughout the year. I know they are voracious feeders, but I haven't
found a lot about how quench their appetites.
