I've seen $100 machines that basically have nylon cord like a weedeater uses.
You put the machine on the top of a garbage can, plug it in, and feed in
your leaves. You could get the same effect with your current weedeater stuck
in a metal garbage can I have read, but I've not tried this. I now have a
shredder that will take up to 1.5" branches and it does a great job on leaves
too. Couldn't do without it.
