Maidenhair fern

Hello Diann & others,
Here we go on the Maidenhair fern thing again...... I sure am glad I did not
know how difficult that plant was .... certainly glad my plants knew nothing of it
when I planted them.... I have Maidenhair ferns in two locations here.... 3 if you
count the nursery display pots (neutral medium). One clump is on a rocky cliff
edge and is about two feet in diameter after quite a few years. It began from one
little rhizome. Another has been in a raised bed in rather open spot for 3 years
now and doing just fine thank you. It was planted from my nursery stock.
The plant in my main garden came from local woods, the one is my raised bed is
originally from a northern wholesaler. Maidenhair happen to be among my
favorites.... wonderful lacy woodland plant.
