> What does everyone plant with their tulips for spring blooming? I've used wallflowers, windflowers, and alyssum for fillers before, but I'm curious as to what everyone else does. If you start these companion plants from seed, when do you start them in order for them to bloom at the same time as your tulips? Any suggestions as to what looks good together? I love pale pink tulips with the strong purples of the grape hyacinths or blue eyes (I forget the latin name).

I like Campanula and Iberis. They just naturally seem to bloom at the right
time in my garden.
