Susan,
Not an expert or a real fan of hostas... but when I moved here in the
sun from a shady garden, found that my hosta adapted. I planted them on
the east side of berms. Didn't loose any, actually I think they like a
bit of sun better than the shade. As long as I keep them moist, they are
growing at unbelievable rates. Divided a plant... one in shade under a
tree, the other next to the pond full sun... the one by the pond has
grown 10X larger than the one in the shady area. I might have just got
lucky and happened to have the correct varieties.... but that is what is
happening here.
