Re: Early Bloom time



Well up here after the daffodils and tulips we get irises.  Usually the
shorter the bearded iris the sooner it blooms ( or so I've been told-not
sure because I grow mostly tall beardeds and a few Siberians).  And they
come in your colour ranges too, as well as quite a few others.  Peonies
too- plenty of white varieties, but unfortunately the only yellows I have
seen have been either very expensive herbacious types or tree peonies which
I have no luck with.  The tree peonies also come in purple and white.
