I have also been told it is dangerous to other animals and don't use it
because of my Yorkie. If it would work on those darn chipmunks that are under
my patio, I might try it. The patio is going to cave in one of these days.
Wonder if the insurance will cover it.
Seriously, I have heard that crushed egg shells will do the same thing, cuts
them as they crawl around. I've never been able to collect enough shells to
do any good. If nothing else, it would be good for the soil.
I have also heard crushed sea shells will work, if you happen to have access
to them. I bought a large bowl of them at a garage sale, but didn't have the
heart to break them up.
I think the key, is something sharp.
