So, you've bought some roses... What next?

I purchased three two gallon roses at Target last night for .99 each.
Two are Chrysler Imperial, and one is a Mr. Lincoln. (I should go back
and get the other two roses... poor lonely babies...)

When do I plant these in the ground? I've trimmed off all the dead
branches (someone forgot to tell Target they need to WATER the
plants...), the trunks are very healthy. Do I need to prune these guys,
or just stick them in the ground as is?

Thanks,

neens
